History:-
In India, Diwali has been depicted as a festival after the summer harvest in the Kartik month of the Hindu calendar since ancient times. Diwali finds mention in Sanskrit texts called Padma Purana and Skanda Purana which are believed to have been written in the second half of the first millennium by elaborating on any central text. Diyas (lamps) are believed to represent parts of the Sun in Skanda Purana, the Sun which is the cosmic giver of light and energy for life and which changes its position in the month of Kartik according to Hindu calendar. In some areas Hindus also associate Diwali with the story of Yama and Nachiketa. Nachiketa's story which tells about right vs. wrong, knowledge vs. ignorance, true wealth vs. momentary wealth, etc. The first millennium BC is recorded in the Upanishads.
In the 7th century Sanskrit drama Nagananda, King Harsha called it Deepapratipadotsavam: in which lamps were lit and gifts were given to the new bride and groom. In the 9th century, Rajashekhar called it Deepamalika in Kavmimamsa. In which houses were painted and oil lamps were decorated at night with houses, streets and markets. Al-Beruni, a Persian traveler and historian, invaded India in his 11th century. In the memoir, Diwali is the festival celebrated by Hindus on the day of the new moon in Kartik month.
Preparation of Diwali:-
This festival is celebrated by people of almost all religions. Many days before the arrival of this festival, decorating and decorating of houses starts.
New clothes are made, sweets are made. After the rain, the dirt turns into grand charm, cleanliness and cleanliness. The arrival of Lakshmi is brightened.
Celebration:-
This festival is celebrated for five days. This festival runs from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj. On the day of Dhanteras, businesses make their books new. It is considered good to bathe before sunrise on the next day on the day of hell fours. Lakshmiji is worshiped on Amavasya.
